Kerry Tomlinson is the Head of the Physics, Electronics and Engineering Group. He joined the firm in 1972, after graduating from the University of Cambridge where he studied Natural Sciences, specialising in electronics and advanced physics. Before attending university he worked in computer programming with the Space Department of the Royal Aircraft Establishment. He handles patent work mainly in the field of electronics, computing and control, and is also concerned with the protection of computer programs and related matters. He has considerable experience of European Oppositions and Appeals. He is a member of AIPPI. Chartered Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney, Member of the Patentanwaltskammer.
