Affordable Patent Litigation
 
Michael Butler and Robert Jackson have been invited to present a seminar on "Affordable Patent Litigation" on 30 March to the "Last Tuesday" meeting of Ideas21, the networking organisation for innovation-based small businesses. The seminar addresses the current issues for small businesses seeking to enforce their patents in the UK, including the cost of litigation, the role of the patents County Court, streamlined Court procedures and litigation insurance. The seminar will also consider the traditional role and possible future roles of the UK Patent Office in patent disputes. Michael has a Diploma in Intellectual Property Litigation from Birkbeck College, London and is a Patent Agent Litigator certified to conduct litigation in the High Court. Robert has a Postgraduate Certificate in Patent Litigation from Nottingham Law School and is completing an LLM in Intellectual Property Litigation, leading to qualification as a Patent Agent Litigator.
