Dr. Julian Cockbain has been invited to present a seminar on "The Importance
of Patents to Start-ups" at Bergen High Technology Centre in Norway
on 21 August 2003. The seminar, organised by Forinnova, the technology transfer
arm of Bergen University, will also cover the effects of the recent change
in Norwegian Law as it applies to inventions made by university researchers.
Dr. Cockbain is a regular visitor to Scandinavia, where he represents many
clients from the fields of academic and industrial research.
