Julian has been asked to be a judge on the jury selecting commercialisable ideas in a competition run by Bergen University in Norway.. The competition is open to those at the university or in associated research organisations. The first prize is 250,000 Norwegian Kroner (about £20,000) towards developing the idea or 250 hours paid sabbatical time to develop the idea. All ideas taken up by the university's Technology Transfer Office will receive 10, 000 Kroner.
