Dr Julian Cockbain has accepted an invitation to write the chapter on "Intellectual Property Rights and Patents" for the 2nd edition of Comprehensive Medicinal Chemistry, a multi-volume work in preparation which is published by Elsevier. The 1st edition (1990) became the acknowledged reference work in the field.
