Distinctions in Litigation Exams

Andrea Hughes and Robert Jackson have earned distinctions in the examinations for the Certificate in Intellectual Property Litigation awarded by Nottingham Law School. The certificate is part of the process for qualification as a Patent Agent Litigator, which Andrea and Robert started in early 2002. All Chartered Patent Attorneys have the right to represent in the Patents County Court, but a Patent Agent Litigator is authorised to conduct litigation in the Patents Court in a similar way to a solicitor. The firm already has two qualified Patent Agent Litigators, Michael Butler and Christopher Davies, but will significantly expand its litigation capability when Andrea and Robert qualify.
